ALBANY, NY., March 24, 2017 - ARMA International, LLC (ARMA), in collaboration with The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce and Custom Electronics, Inc. plan to hold a special workshop on ways to use emerging technologies that can bring about significant regional economic benefits. Within the framework of Smart Cities and Digital Society, the three entities aim to identify innovative ways for businesses as well as academic, nonprofit and government entities, to create solutions to municipal problems and improve the overall quality of life of the citizens of the city of Oneonta and the broader region.
On April 5, 2017, participants at the special workshop on Smart Cities and Digital Society to be held at SUNY Oneonta, will discuss possible new initiatives that can best achieve economic growth and improve the quality of life for the community. The program of the workshop will begin with a presentation on opportunities for municipalities to add effectiveness and efficiency in their many and diverse operations.
